Anton Baev (1963) is author of a number of books in different genres: Eight books of poetry, six novels, two books of short stories, a book of philosophical fragments and two academic monographs.

Some of his books – poetry and novels – were translated and published in German, English, Turkish and Macedonian languages.

He has a Doctor’s degree at the Institute for Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Anton Baev is Chairman of the Board of Plovdiv LIK Foundation, Founder and Director of the International Poetry Festival Orpheus, President of the Writer’s Association in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and board member of the Municipality Foundation Plovdiv 2019.

He has established a number of online newspapers, followed by the multilingual literary sites www.orpheus-plovdiv.eu and www.plovdivlit.com, where he has been developing his career as a writer, publisher, editor and columnist.
