Evgenij Chigrin is the member of the International PEN-Club and the member of the Writer’s Union. He is famous Russian poet, essayist, editor. He is the author of 3 books of selected poems, the recent one is «The Non-sleeping Bay» ( The Time Publisher’s House, Moscow, 2014). His works were published in a lot of literary magazines, the European and Russian antologies.
The poems are translated into 13 languages – English, Spanish, Polish, Serbian, Makedonian, Czech, French, Arabic, Turkish, Hindi, Azerbaijanian, Ukranian, Bellorussian.

He is the laureate of the premium of the Central Federal District of Russia in the nomination “The Literature and Art» ( Moscow,2012), the laureate of the International premium in the honour of Arseniy and Andrey Tarkovsky for the book of poems “ The Drover»( Kiev, 2013), the literary premium of Maxim Gorkiy in the poetry nomination ( 2014) and also The All-Russian Literary Premium in the honour of Pavel Bazhov (2014).
He is rewarded by the several medals, including the medal of Nicolay Gogol for the book “Pogonich» («The Drover”)( in Ukranian , translated by Igor Pavluk, “DIA»Publisher’s House, Kiev, 2014).
He is the participant of a lot of Russian and International literary festivals and books fairs ( in Canada, Poland, India, Ukraine, Armenia, Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia).
He is the former of the antology “The Moscow Year of Poetry»( The Publishing Programme of the Moscow Government).
I n 2015 in Poland the boor of poems by Eugene Chigrin “ Pogonish» ( « The Drover») is published ( Translaton by V.Shtockman, Krakov). [/su_spoiler]
