Born in France in 1984, Irène Gayraud is a poet, writer, translator and academic.

She published four poetry books: à distance de souffle, l’air (Éditions du Petit Pois, 2014), Voltes (Al Manar, 2016), Point d’eau (Le Petit Véhicule, 2017) and Téphra (Al Manar, 2019).

She collaborated with Christophe Mileschi to translate the Dino Campana’s poetical work.

Irène Gayraud has also been studying music. That interest led her to collaborate with several composers of contemporary music. 

Since 2018, she is assistant professor of comparative literature at Sorbonne Université.
