Sergei Glаviuk is a poet and translator, born in 1958 in Dresden, Germany. He has been living in Russia since 1960. He graduated from the Institute of Literature “Maxim Gorki” in Moscow. Worked as editor and editor-in-chief in a number of publishing houses. He is a member of the Russian Writers’ Association and an honorary member of the Macedonian Writers’ Association. He has translated into Russian a part of the works by: Konstantin Miladinov, Grigor Prlicev, Gane Todorovski, Radovan Pavlovski, Rade Siljan, Jovan Strezovski and others. He was presented with the Award of the Macedonian Association of Translators (1997) and the Award for best poem at the Struga Poetry Evenings Festival in 1999.
