Sergiy Grabar is a poet, prose writer and essayist. He was born in 1954 in Kyiv. Grabar studied at the O. Gorkogo Kyiv Pedagogical Institute at the faculty of Ukrainian philology. Sergiy Grabar is the author of three poetic collections: Inspiration (1999), Petals of Hope (2002), and Your Name (2006). He is also the author of four short story books. His works have been translated and published in Croatian, Azerbaijan, Farsi and German. Has also received several poetry awards and recognitions, both national and international.
