Vinka Sharenac Perisic was born in 1957 in Gorazde. She graduated at the Philosophy Faculty in Sarajevo group of Yugoslav History and Serbo-Croatian Literature in 1980. She worked as a professor of literature in high school in Gorazde. She lives and works as a professor of literature in Herceg-Novi. she was awarded: First Prize of Lim’s Poetry Evenings Priboj in Lim, 1981; First Prize “Vukov pen” Loznica, 1991, First Prize for Poetry Love “Golden Ring of Poetry”, Subotica – Palic, 2004, First Prize for love poetry of the association of veterans of Yugoslavia, Novi Sad, 2005, “Silver Albatross,” Association of Writers of the Diaspora from Frankfurt am Main, Bijelo 2006.
