Juliusz Erazm Bolek is one of the most interesting contemporary Polish poets. He has written many poetry books such as “Private danger” (1989), “Heart of the lightning (1994), “Ars poetica” (2001), “Sens-or” (2009), “Abracadabra (2010). His most famous work is a poem “The Secrets of Life. The Poetry Calendar” translated into many languages. He experiments with the form, writes dialog poems and is known for unconventional ways of presenting poetry. His poems are inspiration for artists and film makers, who inspired by his works create poetry videos. He won “Golden Feather of Pheonix” UNESCO’s Award World Poetry Day for original poetry and unconventional ways of presenting it. Two documentaries have been made about the poet.
